|Kids Pet Parade 10:00 a.m.
|The Kountry Kids 4-H Club will host the 2017 Stover Fair
kids’ pet parade 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17 at the east shelter
in Legion Memorial Park. The contest is open to children
age 12 or younger who live in Morgan County and can
control their pet without help. Entries are limited to one
pet per child. Pets may be led, carried, or transported in a
wagon or carrier, but must not be able to escape. Mean
or unruly animals will not be allowed to participate.
Participants should be prepared to clean up after their pets.
This year, pet parade entries will be judged together,
without categories. Prizes will be awarded to the top
five contestants. Registration will be taken the day of the
parade. Entry forms will ask the owner’s name and age,
parent’s name, and pet’s name and breed. For Information,

|Pet Parade, Pedal Pull, Casting Contest, Ol' Time Kids Games, Bicycle Giveaway
|Kids Pedal Pull 12:00 noon
Children ages 4-12 (weighing 100 pounds or less) are
eligible to participate in the pedal pull. The winners will
take home a trophy. Weigh-ins will begin at 11:30 a.m. with
the pull to start at 12.00 noon.
A child's pedal tractor and weighted sled are used for the
pull. The weight classes are: 0-45 pounds; 46-60 pounds;
61-75 pounds and 76-100 pounds.
This is being hosted for the 32nd year by Larry, Sue, Josh

|Kids Casting Contest and Ol' Time Games 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 3-12 may try their skill at line casting in the
hopes of taking home a prized rod and reel, donated by
Edgar's Outdoor Sports. Hosted by Morgan County R1 FFA
Children ages 3-12 will be able to relive the games kids
played from 100 years ago up to the modern era. Some of
these will include a three-legged race, potato sack race, pass
the water race, tug o' war and catch the water bombs. Come
and go as you please for croquet, horse shoes, corn hole,
washers, backyard bowling, chalk obstacle course and squirt
gun shooting practice. Game selection may vary depending
on time and space.

|Children's Bicycle Giveaway 7:00 p.m. Saturday
The Stover Fair Board will be giving a lucky boy and a girl
each a new bicycle on Saturday, donated by Fajen's
Lumber. The drawing will be at 7:00 p.m. and the kids do
not need to be present to win. However, the child must be
present at the time of registering for the drawing.
The Kontry Kids 4-H club will host the 2016 Stover Fair Pet Parade at 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 18th. As in the past, there are seven categories: Cute & Cuddly, Most
Exotic, Best Dressed, Best Trick, Look Alike, Smallest and Largest.
All entries will receive a gift bag. First, second and third place prizes will be
awarded in each category. All first place winners will compete for best of show.
All pets must be contained or on a leash. No mean animals will be permitted to
participate. For the safety of others, any animal showing signs of aggressive behavior
will be asked to leave the grounds. Handlers must be 12 years old or younger, and be
able to control their pet without the aid of an adult.
