This is the 12th Anniversary of the Unique Stitchers ’n’
More Quilt Show.  The Stitchers spend most of the week of
the fair displaying all the quilts in the Stover Community
Center for viewing by attendees.  Last year they displayed
over 135 quilts and anticipate more this year.   Quilts to be
displayed must be brought to the Community Center on
Monday, June 12, between 10:00 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The show hours are Thursday and Friday, June 15th & 16th,
from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 17th, from
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s theme is “Eclipse of
Time” in anticipation of the solar eclipse this August.

The quilt show is free to the public and features a variety of
quilts, as well as crafts and demonstrations.  They will be
accepting can goods for the Stover Food Pantry.  They will
also have a drawing for this year’s raffle quilt “Friendship
Star” (shown below) pieced by members of Unique Stitchers
‘n’ More and professionally quilted by Stitchin’ in Holsten
Hollow.  The drawing will be held Saturday, June 17th,
prior to the main stage event.  For more information on the
quilt show contact Shirley Rorrer, (660) 668-3377, (816)
