Welcome to the Stover Fair
Southwest Connection
Her beauty, along with her experience as a performer, eventually led her to hold the title of the honorable “Miss Bixby” of Bixby, OK. From there, her
performing eventually led her to Branson, Missouri, where she shared her talents with audiences from all over the world. Gracing the stages of several top
shows including “The Shoji Tabuchi Show”, “50’s At The Hop”, “Good Morning, Branson”, and “Top 10 Rock & Roll Review”, just to name a few. She
was also a top finalist on Doug Gabriel’s “Branson Idol” which gained her even more great exposure. After several years of performing, she decided to
take a break and move back home to the Tulsa, OK. area for a few years to be with family and to raise her beautiful daughter, Bella. A few years have now
gone by and, with Bella being a little older, Wendy has decided to get back into what she was born to do…and that is to sing and perform! She and Bella
moved back to Branson, MO. recently and Wendy is pursuing her dream! When not performing with SOUTHWEST CONNECTION, you can find her
singing at “Mel’s Hard Luck Diner” in Branson, MO.

On lead guitar and vocals, we have Mr. Dino Strunk. A 25-year veteran of the Branson, MO. stage, Dino got his start singing professionally at the ripe old
age of 4 years old. He was born and raised on a farm in Taylorville, IL. where he graduated high school. As a child, Dino toured the midwest and southern
states during the summer fair season, along with other times while not in school. He also did several recordings based out of Nashville, TN. He started
playing guitar at the age of 6, and by age 10 he was proficient at playing 11 different instruments. The guitar was his calling, though. And it wasn’t long
until he was in demand as a guitarist with many bands and on many shows in the Central Illinois area. After graduation, he moved to Osage Beach, MO. to
work on various shows in that area. This led to him being noticed by several entertainers involved in nearby Branson, Mo’s booming show scene. After 6
years he made the move to Branson and the rest, as they say, is history! Dino has worked alongside countless major country music acts, including, Joe
Diffie, Mark Chestnutt, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, TG Shepherd, Hank Thompson, Barbara Fairchild, and many more. Shows include “Pierce Arrow”,
“The Dalena Show”, “The Brumley Show”, “The Branson Brothers”, “Roy Roger’s Jr”, “Alabama Revival”, and many others. Dino has also had the honor
of being voted “Branson’s Guitarist Of The Year” for a remarkable 5 times and was also a part of the world-renowned “International Steel Guitar
Convention” where he held the position as “staff guitarist”. From country and blues to jazz, western swing, classic rock, soul, and pop…if it’s guitar you
need, Dino can provide! And he still sings a great song too! When he’s not performing with SOUTHWEST CONNECTION, you can find him performing
with longtime Branson entertainer Mr. Doug Gabriel on the “Doug Gabriel Show”.
