Where: East Shelter
Once again, the Stover Community Action Club will sponsor a beer garden at the east shelter house. It will be open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. each night of the fair. A live band will be performing on Friday and Saturday nights, from 9 p.m. until 12 midnight. There is a cover charge to attend the beer garden on Friday and Saturday but not on Thursday, that’s Stover Night! Concessions will be offered each night, provided by the 4H Kids Club.
On Saturday, June 19th, The Community Action Club will sponsor a washer tournament from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and sign ups start at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per team and there will be a 50% payout. Contact Dylan Kroeschen @ (660) 281-7333.
The Stover Community Action Club consists of community-minded individuals who want to see Stover, and the people who live here, prosper. The members analyze local challenges, collaborate with community partners and conduct projects to create solutions. Past examples of their work are support of Little League and Micro Soccer. Additionally, they helped build the Stover Community Center, help set up the Christmas light display in the park and maintain the east shelter house.
